Welcome to the Compassionate Friends. This private Facebook group is here to offer support for any grandparent or anyone who identifies as a grandparent or step-grandparent who have experienced the loss of a grandchild from miscarriage, stillbirth or infancy. This could be both through medicaly induced delivery as well as loss of life during pregnancy. This could also be due to nonviable pregnancies or this could be loss of life with full term pregnancy.
PSI Online Support For Families Touched by Postpartum Psychosis (PPP)
1st Wednesday at 6pm. FREE, but registration required. Perinatal and postpartum psychosis impacts the entire family. Supporting your loved one through a mental health crisis is taxing and you also deserve support. Led by PSI-trained facilitators, this group helps family members find support for themselves as well as provides useful information and resources to help them navigate their loved one’s experience with PPP. Whether your family’s PPP experience was relatively recent or occurred years ago, you are welcome to attend our free, online peer-to-peer support group.
Star Legacy Grandparents & Extended Family Group (For loss support)
This group is intended for grandparents and other extended family who have experienced pregnancy or infant death. Meets the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month at 7 PM. Facilitated by: Joann O’Leary, PHD, MPH, MS, IM-ER(IV). FREE, but registration is required.

Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders are experienced by more than just biological birthing parents. Intended Parents (IPs) and gestational surrogates can also experience challenges with mood and anxiety. Often, the experience of surrogacy is accompanied by infertility, grief, and/or loss.
